If you want some wireless uplights, this type looks to be a good choice.
Functionality is quite impressive: runs on battery, can run on the same wireless DMX protocol UKing sells transmitters and receivers for (ZQ14016), or the Eurolite system Thomann sells, so you can go wireless completely while still controlling the lamps from your usual console/PC.
The lamps can serve as masters for the rest of the same types as slaves, which can come handy, if you'd choose to use the inbuilt auto functions, the supplied remote controller, or the downloadable app - the later one is not too impressive, have to connect to one of the lamps over WIFI, limited functionalities, etc. The infra red remote controller is fine for same basic functionalities, but controling range is quite limited.
So for the bad part: light is not as strong as I was hoping for based on the listed parameters, prepare to buy 2-3 times the amount you were thinking of if you're going to be using them where ambient lights exist. I started out with 2 based on the 18W/color ratio, but had to get additional 4 for the use case as wall lights in a lightly lit restaurant (might add 2 more later on, we'll see). Now with the 6 pieces I feel I can maintain a nice background, but still have to run them at their maximum. For comparision I have purchased previously the ZQ01553 lamps (14x15W IP65 RGBW), which have around 50W/color, and those had to be used at 10-15% all the time in the same restaurant not to overshoot the background. Those lamps are Goliat, this uplight is David... :-)
Mobility: crazy
Functionality: crazy (due to the wireless DMX built in)
Battery life: much more than I'd ever need for a single event
Luminous flux: average - but as I see the competition, they seem to be selling the exact same lamps for higher prices, so go with UKing if you don't need water protection!
Oh, and definitely go with the double packs, not the single! The doubles come in double boxes, (2 separate boxes in an outer box), and although a single lamps is packed well, shipping will be much safer with the double box - had no damage with any of the 6 lamps which I can't say for the ZQ01553 lamps previously where all were damaged from on the painting one way or another.
