FAQs
A Protective Casing—commonly known as a Flight Case—is a heavy-duty transport container specifically designed for stage lighting equipment. UKING flight cases feature a high-grade leather surface reinforced with an interior of PE padding and EVA foam dividers. This robust structure effectively provides anti-drop and shockproof protection, securing your moving heads or par lights during transit to prevent damage from bumps or vibrations. It is an essential piece of gear for touring and mobile performances.
UKING flight cases are custom-made for specific models of moving heads or par lights to ensure the internal foam fits the device perfectly.
- Check the Model Code: For example, if you purchased ZQ02253 or ZQ02103 moving heads, please select the UKING ZQ02253/ZQ02103 SMALL FLIGHTCASE.
- Review the Title Description: Our product titles typically list compatible lighting models (e.g., ZQ02341, ZQ02356). Before purchasing, please ensure your light’s model number matches the one listed in the flight case title.
The choice depends primarily on the number of fixtures you need to transport:
- Small Flightcase: Usually designed to hold 2 units. For example, the UKING ZQ02229 SMALL FLIGHTCASE is tailored for 2 moving heads.
- Large Flightcase: Usually designed to hold 4 or more units. For instance, the UKING ZQ02255 LARGE FLIGHTCASE holds 4 units, while certain charging models (like the ZQ01528) can accommodate up to 6 units. All cases feature internal dividers, and some models include built-in accessory compartments for convenient storage of power and signal cables.
We have designed our cases with the user’s physical effort in mind. UKING flight cases are highly user-friendly:
- Effortless Mobility: Most models feature built-in wheels (including brakeable wheels) and a retractable tow handle, similar to luggage. This allows you to push or pull the case easily without heavy lifting.
- Quick Loading/Unloading: The lift-off lid design allows you to quickly remove or pack your equipment, significantly improving the efficiency of stage setup and teardown.
Yes. To save storage and transport space, our flight cases are designed for stacking. The top of each case features four recessed stacking places that perfectly align with the wheels of the case above it, ensuring stability and safety when stacked.
Most UKING flight cases are shipped with the necessary assembly components. The package typically includes: 1 x main flight case body, 2 x brakeable wheels, 2 x standard wheels, and 1 x screwdriver for wheel installation. This allows you to quickly assemble the case and put it to use immediately upon arrival.
