Sometimes it happens that the wire/flage inside of the light loosen during the travel, which would cause scratching noise.

When you meet this problem, please check the noise source first:
a. It sounds scratching when the light pan horizontally.
b. It sounds scratching when the light tilt vertically.

For these two situation, please find below the details.

a. It sounds when the light pan horizontally.

  1. Power off and unplug the light.
  2. Please use your screwdriver to disassemble the lamp’s arm shell from the back as shows in the picture.Disassemble the lamp use the screwdriver
  3. Please check if the flange(1) are too close with the shell and if the gear(2) has encountered some wires/staff while rotating vertically.
  4. You can try to munually tilt the light and see if there is any noise, when you identify the noise point, please try to split and fix the wires or loosen or tighten the flage.
  5. Plug and turn on the light and test it before you re-install the arm shell.

b. It sounds when the light pan horizontally.

    1. Power off and unplug the light.
    2. Please use your screwdriver to disassemble the lamp’s base shell from the bottom as shows in the picture, you only need to unscrew these four screws around the corner.Disassemble the lamp
    3. Take the base shell off from the both side.
    4. Please check if the flange of the base here is loosen.
    5. Try and rorate the light horizontally and see if the light touches any wire / switch. You can fix them with glue and tapes.
    6. Plug and turn on the light and test it before you re-install the arm shell.
